What is Fixer-Upper?
Take turns adding details to one shared dream-room sketch. Six quick turns create the final makeover.
How to play
- Create a Fixer-Upper room and send the invitation to your partner.
- Read the shared prompt and check whose turn is active. Only the active player draws.
- Add a detail to the existing scene, then finish your turn or let its timer end.
- Your partner continues from the same picture. At the final reveal, explain what you added and why.
Who is it for?
Two people who prefer making something together to racing for the quickest answer. It is a good change of pace during a video-call date.
Try this in your first game
One person adds a sofa, the other adds a slide leading to it. The next turn might add a landing cushion or a very confused houseplant.
- Leave empty space for the next person. Filling the whole board on the first turn makes later additions harder to see.
- Build on the last addition rather than trying to redraw the entire scene.
- Decide on a playful theme, such as a tiny home or an impossible holiday cabin.
Before you invite your friends
How does my friend join?
One person creates the lobby and shares its room code or full invite link. Everyone else joins that same room. Creating a second room will put you in separate games.
Can we play on phones?
Yes. Use a browser on each device and keep the game tab open during the round. A larger screen gives drawings more room. For a call, use your usual voice or video app separately.
Do we need accounts?
No account or download is required to play these games with friends.
